Construction, digital transformation and mobility at AsiaWorld Expo

In June and July, five important exhibitions took place at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, four of them were inaugural shows.

Informa Markets held four concurrent B2B shows at AWE (15 – 17 July 2025): Build4Asia 2025, a long-estab­lished platform for the security, building and electrical engineering industry, featuring a series of in­teractive forums, workshops and design galleries. And The Battery Show Asia, Mobility Tech Asia, and the inaugural Data Center Asia 2025 – made their debuts in Asia for the first time after successful parent shows in the US and Europe. 

The co-location of these f exhibitions significantly expands the event's exhibit profile and customer base, drawing in more buyers from a diverse range of sectors including energy storage, system integration, environmental sustainability, power generation, IT and infrastructure and engineering. This convergence equips building professionals with comprehensive tools to enhance project efficiency and sustainability, fully capitalising on the evolving demands of smart and resilient cities.

A month before International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong), B2B2C event took place (12 – 15 June 2025). Themed “New Car, New Journey,” the event aimed to establish a dynamic platform for collaboration amongst the automotive industry, supply chain, and financial services. It highlighted high-quality and sustainable development of the automotive industry and its supply chain.

The Expo, spanning over 50,000 sqm, showcased technological breakthroughs in the global automotive industry, featuring top vehicle brands including FAW Group, Hongqi, GAC Group, Geely Auto, BYD Auto, covering a wide range of models. A Low-altitude Economy Zone featured leading aerospace vehicle brands, including XPeng Motor, Geely Auto and Govy highlighting eVTOL and related aerospace vehicle technologies. Interactive zones offered virtual test drives, immersing car enthusiasts in the future of mobility.
