The 2025 UFI Sustainable Development Award topic was “Best Inclusion Initiative”. It honours industry trailblazers who use exhibitions as platforms for positive social change, particularly around inclusivity. Inclusion is about creating an environment where all participants feel valued and respected, regardless of their background or differences. It ensures that everyone has equal opportunities to participate, thrive, and succeed within our industry.
Ray Rhodes, head of Inclusion & Diversity, RX Global, welcomes the award: “We are honoured and thrilled to receive the 2025 UFI Sustainable Development Award for Best Inclusion Initiative. This recognition is a testament to the passion and commitment of our teams around the world who work tirelessly to ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels welcomed, heard, and belongs at our events. We’re proud to be helping shape a more inclusive future for the exhibitions industry and all the sectors we represent.”
Stephanie Mathas, chair of UFI Sustainable Development Working Group, commented, “Congratulations to RX Global on winning the UFI Sustainable Development Award for Best Inclusive Initiative. Their integrated, focused, and diverse approach to inclusion stood out to the jury for its global impact and for driving meaningful change within the company and the wider industry. Their 'Guide to Inclusive Events' is an inspiring and replicable tool, showcasing how inclusion can be deeply embedded in strategy, lived through action, and shared for the benefit of the entire exhibitions community."
