Inaugural “Belt and Road International Food Expo” at AsiaWorld-Expo

Born from China’s high-profile Belt and Road Initiative, which will benefit over 63% of the world’s population in over 70 countries, including China, ASEAN, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe, AsiaWorld-Expo is pleased to welcome the inaugural “Belt and Road International Food Expo” in June 2018.

Supported by the Belt & Road Global Alliance and Invest HK, this brand new trade show is the first platform of its kind to provide one-stop food trade and investment co-operation tailored to emerging countries. The event’s organising members consist of Ambassadors and Consul-Generals of a wide range of countries, including Indonesia, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Lithuania and Slovakia, which will be reflected in the rich variety of country pavilions at the Expo.

With the full support of Belt and Road Global Development Alliance (BARGDA), InvestHK and Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK), the inaugural of The First Belt and Road International Food Expo (Hong Kong) 2018 is to be held from 27 - 29 June 2018 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. The Belt and Road Initiative provides new incomparable opportunities for the global economic development in the 21st century.

This Food exhibition tends to propose a more casual manner of operating its food service industries. This exhibition is also one of its kind, utilizes the Belt & Road as its main theme. With the exposure of an international spectrum, it fosters a flourishing growth to the whole food industries, and beneficial as well to all its nationals, along the Belt & Road coastal regions. Those market segments convey tremendous potential of emerging economies, including China, ASEAN, the Middle East, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.
