Hostelco launch Mexico Hospitality Expo

07.05.2025

The Mexican city of Guadalajara hosts the first edition of Mexico Hospitality Expo (MHE), a new event resulting from the cooperation between Fira de Barcelona – through its Hostelco brand – and Expo Guadalajara.

The event, focused on the hotel and restaurant industry, is committed to innovation and sustainability and aims to become the leading hub for all the actors in the industry in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

The event spreads over 9,000 square metres in which it will bring together over 300 participating brands to showcase solutions in equipment and machinery; technology; tableware and table service; furniture, interior design and textiles; food and beverages; delivery, transport and services for hotels and restaurants. The companies come from a total of 10 countries that, in addition to Mexico itself, include Spain, Italy, USA, Belgium, France, Sweden, Japan, Peru and China.

MHE expects a total of 5,000 visitors, 15 per cent of whom come from Central America and the Caribbean, from the areas of hotel chains; restaurants, cafeterias and franchises; spas and wellness centers; hospitals and health centers; gastronomy schools; and the contract channel. The event also has a full programme of conferences that brings together more than 50 national and international speakers to address key topics such as energy efficiency, circular economy, digitalisation, sustainable design and technology-driven customer experiences.
