The Russian Convention Bureau (National Convention Bureau Association) was established in November, 2017 with support of the Government of the Russian Federation to form and promote a positive image of Russia as a favourable place to hold events of any scale and attract international meetings. Russian Convention Bureau is actively working to interact with buyers (professional event organisers, corporate customers, non-profit organisations, professional industry associations). Russian Convention Bureau’s tasks include organisation of familiarisation tours to Russian regions for potential customers, as well as participation in tenders for the right to hold international events in the Russian territy.

Russia Open To The World is the national stand of the Russian Federation representing the event potential of Russian regions at specialised exhibitions and fairs on the international market. "One of the key tasks of Russia's participation in international events is to present the event potential of  the regions of our country and their infrastructural possibilities to the largest world market players, says the head of the Russian delegation, Director of National  Convention  Bureau Association, Alexey Kalachev. "By collecting the Russian industry professionals at the national stand, we are planning not only to vividly show Russia's great potential but also to determine the prospects of cooperation with our foreign colleagues."

At the exposition Russia Open To The World, Russia will be represented by the key players of the Russian event industry market. These include representatives of national and regional companies in the meeting industry, congress bureaux, hotel networks, resorts, congress and exhibition centres, PCO and DMC from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Krasnodar Territory, Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions.

Russian Collective Stand will become a single business space based on the principles of hospitality and openness. In the Presentation Zone the Russian regions will demonstrate their event opportunities. One of the presentations will be devoted to the World exhibition Expo 2025 in Ekaterinburg. During the work of the exposition, special attention will be paid to the forthcoming the Football World Cup 2018 to be held in Russia for the first time.
Representatives of the Russian companies will be able to discuss the prospects of cooperation with international Imex participants in the Networking area at the booth. Such format will provide for the effective dialog among market professionals and potential foreign partners.

We invite the participants and guests of Imex exhibition, mass media representatives to discover unique places of Russia to hold the international meetings in the comfortable atmosphere of stand No. G420 at the exhibition centre Messe Frankfurt from May 15 to May 17, 2018.
