Ahead of welcoming the global prosthetics, orthotics and assistive technology community to Bangkok in March 2027, Impact Muang Thong Thani is highlighting the barrier-free access built into every hall.
Impact Exhibition and Convention Center is expanding accessibility across its Bangkok campus ahead of the Ispo 21st World Congress, which the venue will host from March 22 – 25, 2027. The congress, themed “A World Connected: Advancing Assistive Technologies for Global Equity,” will bring together researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals from the global prosthetics, orthotics and assistive technology community — many of whom will move through the venue using wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, or other mobility aids.
Every entrance across the Impact campus is wheelchair accessible and fitted with automatic doors, and all stairways are equipped with handrails. Accessible ramps lead into every exhibition hall entrance, while designated accessible parking and passenger drop-off points are available throughout the complex, including at Impact Forum, the congress’s dedicated venue.
Elevators connect every level of every building on the campus, giving guests who cannot use stairs full access to all floors. All meeting rooms, exhibition halls, and trade show floors — including the Grand Diamond ballroom and Sapphire function rooms at Impact Forum — are wheelchair accessible, and all public restrooms across the venue are built to the same standard.
