UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, has launched its new Strategy on Learning, setting out how professional learning and development will be supported across the organisation and the global exhibition community.
The strategy was developed following research and consultation with UFI members, including feedback gathered through a dedicated survey. This work highlighted the growing importance of learning that is practical and grounded in real industry practice, as well as the value placed on learning through peer exchange and collaboration.
Chris Skeith, managing director of UFI, comments: “Learning happens every day across our industry. Given UFI’s global position and network – we have an opportunity to support this learning in a more consistent and meaningful way.”
The strategy introduces UFI Learning, designed to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning across the exhibition industry. UFI will support learning across its programmes, events, communities, and resources, ensuring that every engagement offers an opportunity to learn.
UFI Learning is guided by three strategic priorities:
- Increasing access and
flexibility
- Leveraging
industry expertise and partnerships
- Curating engaging and
relevant learning opportunities
The UFI Learning portfolio will continue to be developed over time, with new opportunities introduced progressively. This work will be informed by ongoing dialogue with members and partners, ensuring learning remains aligned with industry needs and realities.
By launching its Strategy on Learning and introducing UFI Learning,
UFI aims to strengthen professional capability across the exhibition
community while reinforcing its role as a trusted platform for
knowledge exchange within the industry.
