UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, has opened registration for its Business Mission to Bogotá and Latam, which will take place from 14-15 October in Bogotá, Colombia, hosted by Corferais.
UFI’s first mission in the region serves two purposes: to connect international organisers, venues, and suppliers with the growing exhibition industry in Latin America and to spotlight the diverse opportunities in Bogotá. The two-day programme will offer invaluable insight into why the Colombian capital, in particular, is emerging as a strategic hub for trade fairs and events.
Open to both UFI members and non-members, the mission will bring together local, regional, and international stakeholders to learn about new prospects and create connections for companies looking to expand into the market. Attendees will hear from leading industry voices from the region and discover the latest developments shaping Bogotá and the wider Latin American exhibition landscape.
Andres Lopez-Valderrama, executive president of Corferias, comments: “We are honoured to have been selected as the host destination for the UFI Business Mission 2025 in Bogotá. This event represents a unique opportunity to strengthen regional collaboration across Latin America, highlight Bogotá and the region’s potential as a hub for international exhibitions, and reaffirm our joint commitment to driving innovation and sustainable growth in the global events industry.”
Ana Maria Arango, regional director for Central & South America and director of Sponsorship & Partnership,
adds: “I am convinced about the huge potential of the exhibition
industry in Latin America. The global community just needs to discover
our market. We have plenty of trusted partners in the region and
Corferias has proven this role through the different international
partnerships established in the last two decades. We look forward to
welcoming international industry leaders to Bogotá for this exciting
opportunity.”
